TECH VISITS
Meet the teams.
Explore the technology.
Focused visits to companies along the robotics value chain, shaped around your application and technical goals.
Meet engineers, see product demonstrations and discuss what it would take to bring a technology into your project. We help shape the company shortlist and visit agenda around the questions you need answered.
Who is this for?
Industrial users
Discuss task requirements, operating conditions and deployment feasibility.
Robot developers & integrators
Explore platforms, components and software for your next system.
Sourcing & business teams
Understand supplier capabilities and discuss commercial cooperation.
Research & innovation teams
Meet technical teams and shape your next Proof of Concept.
What would you like to explore?
Choose a technical focus. We shape the discussion around your application.
Robot systems
Task suitability, payload, mobility, autonomy and deployment requirements.
Joints & actuators
Torque, speed, thermal performance, feedback and mechanical integration.
Robot arms
Reach, repeatability, control interfaces and integration into your workflow.
Sensors & perception
Range, accuracy, operating conditions and sensor integration.
Grippers & dexterous hands
Grasping tasks, dexterity, force control and object handling.
Robotics software & AI
SDKs, ROS compatibility, simulation, perception and deployment workflows.
Turn a demonstration into a technical decision.
Bring your application and requirements. We prepare the questions with you, so every visit ends with answers you can use.
What does the product achieve today – under conditions close to your application?
Which interfaces, integration work and adaptations would your system need?
Which test data, certifications or documentation are still missing?
What is the path to samples, a proof of concept or a pilot – and on what timeline?
Questions are prepared for each company and prioritised against your project goals.
Before, during and after your visit.
A clear agenda helps make the most of the time with each technical team.
03 / AFTER
Clarify next steps
Bring findings together and identify follow-up actions, such as documentation requests, sample evaluation or a pilot discussion.
02 / DURING
Focus the exchange
Meet the teams, discuss product fit and integration needs, and record key answers and open questions.
01 / BEFORE
Define the scope
Clarify your application, shortlist relevant companies and prepare questions, requested demonstrations and a meeting agenda.
What you can take forward
Meeting notes, comparison summaries and further coordination can be included in the agreed scope.
A practical action plan
Define proposed next steps, contacts and responsibilities.
Questions and evidence to follow up
Identify the technical gaps, missing information and tests still needed.
A clearer view of product fit
Compare capabilities against the requirements that matter to your project.
From online shortlist to a joint POC plan – in five days.
How a programme could look for a European system integrator preparing a proof of concept. Suppliers are compared and selected online beforehand; on site, three days of visits in and around Zhangjiang Robot Valley are followed by two days of workshops.
Requirements, datasheets and video calls with candidate suppliers. One preferred supplier per component category is selected before travelling – so the time on site goes into validation, not discovery.
Kick-off & joints
- MORNINGKick-off: POC objectives, requirements and open questions from the online phase.
- AFTERNOONJoints & actuators supplier: lab and production tour, live demonstration, torque, control and interfaces.
Mobile base & perception
- MORNINGMobile base supplier: navigation demo, payload, interfaces and mounting.
- AFTERNOONPerception supplier: test setup under application-relevant conditions, data and software interfaces.
Dexterous hand & review
- MORNINGDexterous hand supplier: grasping tests with sample objects, control, lifetime and service questions.
- AFTERNOONInternal review: confirmed points, gaps and questions for the workshops.
Integration workshop
- SYSTEM VIEWHow joints, hand, base and perception work together – interfaces, communication and power.
- RISKS & GAPSIntegration risks, missing evidence and the tests needed to close them.
POC plan & work split
- POC PLANScope, system set-up, success criteria and test plan.
- WORK SPLIT & NEXT STEPSResponsibilities of integrator, suppliers and our coordination team – timeline, samples and follow-up.
Example only. This programme illustrates a possible format and does not describe a past project or specific companies. Routes, companies and timing are tailored to each visit; shorter and single-company visits are also possible.
PLAN YOUR VISITA few practical questions
-
Yes. Share your preferred companies or technologies. Access and meeting scope are subject to confirmation.
-
No. An application idea and a few clear questions are enough to start shaping the programme.
-
We agree the programme, coordination, language support, follow-up and fees before confirmation. Travel and accommodation arrangements are clarified separately.
